Now that the Midterm is over**, what are your thoughts?
Please be thorough. I do change assignments year to year from the comments students give! (That does not mean you can say, "Make it longer and harder so they have to suffer!") =)
**Well, it is almost over. You still have to present when we get back from Regents break.
By the way, have a great break. While you are sleeping in, I will be grading essays after essays after essays after...

I am scared to know what i received.... After you looked over my final copy of everything, you told me to re-do basically everything lol.... well anywho... i did like the creative crafts.... it was superb.. i didnt really enjoy the essay choices. it seemed difficult and hard to explain....
I like it that you gave us our own choices, instead of making us do something that is MANDATORY. I hate teachers that do not let us imput our own ideas - because I always have many!
I am not yet done with mine, but I have been thinking about it and working out my ideas in my head.
I shall finish it this weekend!
i def liked the mid term...( and the added days) even though we had to do an extra clever creation but that really is hard.... at all...
I loved the options you gave us for our mid-term...especially the creative part. The essay part was very difficult for me though, none of the topics seamed right for my book.
*it was somewhat fun though and i really liked the extra days! :)
I love the soundtrack option.
Finally I can incorporate some of my music into something productive. =]
Yea...the soundtrack option was a really cool idea. Except all the songs I used are not the best to listen to! I had fun picking out songs though because some of them are pretty old...I think :}
I had a perfectly good one picked out, but then it turned out to be somewhat inappropriate. That sort of burst my bubble =]
i thought that essay was dumb. and geist grades too hard
i thought the mid term was a good project to give and have us do. i thought i did pretty good on the essay part for having to base my essay on a series of books. I tried to do my best on the creative part but i didnt (ha ha curse word!!!!) do that well on it but i survived it and i enjoyed reading the book the best!!! :)
