As we begin reading about Charlie and his desire to learn, we must take into account other factors that are very real today. If we had the technology to make everyone intelligent (as in an IQ of at least 150), do you think we should take it upon ourselves to create a new race of superhumans?
What I am asking you is this: What do you think the ramifications are of making everyone intelligent? Is it good for science? On the other side of the same coin, if we had the ability to get rid of those that are handicapped or mentally retarded, should we? What do you think would happen to the world?

NO!!!!! people are going to be as smart as they can be without help they were born that way for a reason and the carreers that they choose to persue we need in our society to fill those jobs as well as the jobs that require more intelligence. technology should not influence humans and their thinking....think of people llike Einstein who did it all on their own without a technological "superhumans" walking around... yes it would be cool but its not necessary
NO WAY! k first of all superhumans? that sounds freaky haha. But I do not think we should make everyone geniuses that is just weird. I think that doing that would just cause problems. If ppl get too smart or even if one person just gets too smart they could try to like take over the world or something. That would not be good. I do think it would be ok to make handicapped ppl able to learn so they have a fair atvantages as everyone else once they try to get jobs and work. As for making ppl superhumans.....thats a little far fetched in my opinion =]
People definitely not be messing with people's brains! Obviously God made everyone different for a reason and if everyone was like perfect and super smart, everyone would practically be the same. So people are different but I don't think that science should be taking over nature. =].

Okay.... I am just saying yes and no. Yes, we should just limit the IQ to strictly average so we can fix the problems of the mentally restrained. But on the other hand, there should never be a race of super humans. it just does not seem right. Oh and plus, my IQ is over 200 ^^
I dont think that we should i think people should be allowed to be whatever they want even if they are a little abnormal. It would not feel the same if we made people have to be smart.
hmmm.even tho i still rly don't get this question cuz geist ignores me when i ask questions...but if we were all smartical we would have alot of sweet technology...and then nobody would have to drop school and every1 would go to college and get a degree and get good paying jobs. and we would all have money..and the world would be a more peaceful place =]]*giggles*
thats a large question! ok so yes i think that some people would get carried away and try to make a super human race as for if it is good well since i belive in god no i do not belive we should change people they are the way god made them for a reason!!
