What does it mean to be happy? Are you happy?
Are there different kinds of happiness? Do possessions make us more or less happy? How intelligent does one have to be to realize unhappiness?
Give a definition of what you think happiness is and talk about it. (I mean really talk about it.)

I guess I can say that i am pretty happy. Happiness to me is being around people that put me in a good mood.I think there are two different types of happiness. The happiness you get from possessions and the happiness you just get. I think possessions make you more happy. You have to be kind of intelligent to realize unhappiness because something causes unhappiness and you have to realize the reason you are unhappy to be unhappy.
happiness is to have a good feeling about something in your life. i think possessions can make you happy but you dont need them to make you happy.people can make you happy too. anthing that you have a good feeling about it happiness. the reason you can get unhappy is beacuse you have a crappy feeling about somehitng in your life not neceerily a lack of possession

happiness...... .:sighs:. I don't really think there is a specific definition for happiness. It's different to everyone I guess. Happiness to be is just being with my friends and having a good time. To others happiness could be being alone...
There is no pre-determined definition for happiness. Happiness is what each individual chooses to make it. Personally, I am happy all of the time. I am mad and happy, sad and happy, confused and happy... Being happy to me is knowing that our king (Jesus Christ) died for us. Throughout the day, my feelings towards others change, yet I know I can be happy because I am alive and free. I get the chance to live my life in the wealthy United States and that is enough to make me "happy".
I think material objects are what a lot people base "happiness" on. If a person has a lot of money, lives in a mansion, and has four cars, people assume that that person is "happy". However, I believe that often times, it is the Christian woman who lives in poverty with no money and barely enough food to survive or the poor man who is forced to work for the few objects he possesses, or even the middle aged wife who lives in wealth but chooses to tithe and give her money to charities while spending time with her family and friends who are truly "happy". People in that type of situation do not have the material objects to clutter or trash their minds. There are no televisions or video games in poverty-filled places. Rather, those people get to spend quality time with their families or working hard, and they often tend to have a closer relationship with God due to devoting more time to His word and to praying...All of which would make a peron more "happy"...whatever that is.
To me, happiness is being around people that I are comfortable around. Comfort is the main ingredient for the recipe of happiness. But, it is different for everybody.
I have only three people that I am completely comfortable around - the three people I trust the most. I can be myself when I am around them, and that is what makes me happy. Just being able to have nothing to hide. When we are with each other, we do not even have to talk, but we still have a good time. That is my happiness.
There is the EXTREME happiness [that happy that makes you want to jump up and down]
Then there is the regular happy
And finally the comfortable happy...the happy you do not have to show, but you know that you are truly happy.
Possessions make us happy for a short time..but eventually we tire from them...and getting sick of something is not a sign of happiness.
As for your last question...I have no idea how to express my answer into words "/
